Howdy! I’m the monkey and right now Monkeyphonics is my blog.

It’s just music that I play with some friends. As well as stuff I listen to.

I work I eat I play I sleep I read I talk and I listen to two radio stations.
One is the WeFunk Radio Show run by Dj Static and Proffesor Groove in Montreal – the 2 DJs and hosts are some of the funkiest people on air backed by the rarest and juiciest soul and funk attic catalogue, the other is Soulful Bits Radio – run by some french dudes of which I know nothing about apart from the fact that they have an impressive collection of old soul music and a constant stream of contemporary french groove which proves to be… well very groovy. Their site is in french and makes me dizzy but the We Funk website is in english and I seriously encourage you to explore it.
